Transplant patients should be able to get back to some normalcy like everyone else, but these immunocompromised patients may need a 3rd dose for adequate protection. Our Dr. Dorry Segev talked Live with MSNBC’s Kristen Welker. Transplant patients should get vaccinated, but act like they are not. Our team is studying the antibody levels in transplant patients, and are learning if a 3rd vaccine could help these immunocompromised patients live a more normal life as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
