Monday, February 25, 2019, ERGOT’s Dr. Tanjala Purnell organized the #UrgencyofNow2019 symposium in honor of colleague and friend Dr. Shalon Irving to help advance the national agenda to eliminate racial disparities in maternal health. This past January 10-13 was the 19th annual American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) Winter Symposium in Miami, FL. Thank you and congratulations to the ERGOT members who had the chance to present work, display posters, and participate in panel discussions.

Congratulations to ERGOT team members who won awards at this year’s ATC!

  • Dr. Christine Durand received the AST Clinical Science Career Development Award.
  • Dr. Christine Haugen received an ATC Travel Award.
  • Ashton Shaffer’s poster on “Patterns Of Antiretroviral Therapy Use Among US Liver Transplant Candidates With HIV” was in the top 10 Posters of Poster Session A.
  • Lyndsey Duquette received the AST Transplant Advocacy Award.
